He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and has a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. As a certified Athletic Trainer, Dr. McConnell has a sports injury background and knowledge of diagnosis, initial treatment, and rehab exercises to enhance his patients' recovery.

Owen McConnell, DC, ATC, LAT, will start his chiropractic practice at Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo in December. Dr. McConnell’s office will be in the Geneseo Clinic, located on the first floor of the hospital. Those interested in scheduling appointments may do so by calling the Geneseo Medical Group at 309.944.1275. He will also accept walk-ins. Dr. McConnell hails from Erie where he resides with his wife and three children.
