Job Description

Candidate will:

  • Be responsible for developing a hospital-wide Education Program.
  • Consult with department managers to meet the educational goals of the department staff.
  • Maintain visibility with community and promotion of Hammond-Henry Hospital.
  • Work closely with members of the hospital professional team, medical staff, and ancillary personnel.

Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications

  • Current nursing licensure by the State of Illinois.
  • Current BLS within 6 months of hire.
  • ACLS and BLS instructor certifications preferred.

 

The Clinical Informatics Nurse provides day to day responsibility for coordinating and integrating clinical information into practice, both clinical and business as appropriate for inpatient and outpatient services. Will also develop coding expertise on the clinical units.  Performs patient care.

80 hours/pp

Qualifications:

RN with experience in acute care and ER desired.

CDI, Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist preferred. 

Previous Information Technology experience needed.

Degree in Health Informatic preferred.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS,PALS

ECRN and TNCC preferred

Valid State of IL RN Licensure

 

Education:

 RN required

BSN preferred
