Frequently Asked Questions
Who should come to the clinic?
All adults and children are welcome. We treat most medical conditions that need care right away but are not life-threatening.
Who will care for me?
The clinic is staffed by skilled, friendly healthcare providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Do I need an appointment?
No, you can walk in anytime.
How long will I have to wait?
Our goal is to complete your care in less than one hour. We try to see you as quickly as possible. Wait times are based on the number of people seeking care as well as the seriousness of their conditions.
Is a walk-in clinic visit more affordable than an emergency room visit?
A visit is normally provided at a lower cost than an emergency room visit. Depending on your insurance, you may be responsible for your co-pay/coinsurance/deductible. We will bill as an outpatient department of the hospital.
What if I do not have insurance?
Hammond-Henry is pleased to offer a medical discount program to help patients who have no insurance or whose coverage is inadequate.
Does Hammond-Henry Walk-In Clinics offer preventative medicine services (vaccinations, physicals, blood pressure checks, etc)?
We do not offer wellness exams. We do offer work physicals, school physicals, sports physicals, and DOT physicals. You will need to be seen by a primary care provider for vaccinations or blood pressure checks.
Where can I offer feedback about my experience?
Our goal is to offer a comprehensive approach to patient care that focuses on you. We call it “full circle of care”. From the moment you walk in the door until you are fully recovered, we ensure that you will experience the highest level of care from our providers. We invite you to provide us with feedback on your experience at the Hammond-Henry Walk-In Clinics so that we can continually improve our care.
